INSULIN LISPRO 100 units/mL Versus HUMALOG® (insulin lispro) 100 units/mL

When transitioning from Humalog® (insulin lispro) 100 units/mL to insulin lispro 100 units/mL, no dose conversion is needed.

Detailed Information

Do not perform dose conversion when transitioning to the generic IL-100 from Humalog.1,2

For example, if a patient is transitioning from 20 units of Humalog, the patient would administer 20 units of generic IL-100.

Generic IL-100 is identical to Humalog in terms of

  • active ingredients

  • inactive ingredients

  • manufacturing, and  

  • 3 mL KwikPen and 10 mL vial packaging.3

Generic IL-100 has a unique NDC number, label, and package insert.3
