How is Omvoh™ (mirikizumab-mrkz) metabolized and eliminated?
Mirikizumab is expected to be degraded into small peptides and amino acids via catabolic pathways. In a pharmacokinetic analysis in patients with ulcerative colitis, the mean half-life was 9.3 days.
Degradation and Clearance
Mirikizumab-mrkz is a humanized immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4) monoclonal antibody and is expected to be degraded into small peptides and amino acids via catabolic pathways in the same manner as endogenous IgG.1
