Effect of Skipping Doses of CIALIS (tadalafil)

Clinical trials of CIALIS for the once daily treatment of ED and/or signs and symptoms of BPH did not study the effect of skipping CIALIS doses.

Impact on Efficacy

Tadalafil dosed once daily has been studied in clinical trials for the treatment of

  • ED

  • the signs and symptoms of BPH, and

  • both ED and the signs and symptoms of BPH.1

Once-daily dosing allows the achievement of steady-state plasma concentration and clinical efficacy was assessed following daily dosing. The impact of a missed day of therapy has not been studied, but impact on efficacy is likely to vary by patient. Some patients may notice reduced efficacy from missing a single dose while others may not.
