Does Taltz® (ixekizumab) affect fertility?

No effects on reproductive organs, menstrual cycle length, or sperm analysis were observed in sexually mature cynomolgus monkeys that received ixekizumab for 13 weeks at a weekly subcutaneous dose of 50 mg/kg.

Detailed Information

No effects were observed in sexually mature cynomolgus monkeys that were administered ixekizumab for 13 weeks at a subcutaneous dose of 50 mg/kg/week (at least 19 times the maximum recommended human dose on a mg/kg basis) regarding

  • reproductive organs
  • menstrual cycle length, or
  • sperm analysis.1

The monkeys were not mated to evaluate fertility.1
