Definition of HbA1c
Your HbA1c test results gives your HCP an average BG (blood sugar) over the last 2 to 3 months.1
Testing HbA1c
Typically, your HbA1c will be checked at least twice a year, or more frequently if you are not meeting your treatment goals.1
Goal HbA1c
The goal HbA1c for the average person is less than 7%, or an eAG of 154; however, your HCP may have a different goal based on your individual needs (Table 1).1
